Favorite reads for the week of June 3, 2024, and a summer reading list!

My lovies, good morning!

My presence has been spotty over the last few weeks, and I thank you for your patience. There was the end of the homeschool year (that is not truly the end, since we do continuous learning), holidays and illnesses, and the sun was so warm and fuzzy it felt like a crime to stay inside.

There is also the book in process. A book that has morphed into a beautiful beast, half hallucinogenic prose, half deep-dive non-fiction, a hybrid between a dissertation and a novel. Everyone knows I like to make things hard for myself.

The fact that I’ve naturally spent less and less time at my computer and more and more outside, in books and eating popsicles, is the embodied cue I needed to transition into summer.

Like last year, I am taking the summer off from this newsletter to focus on my family and writing. I will return when the air gets chillier and the leaves turn colors.

In the meantime, enjoy one last Crumbs… and my 2024 summer reading list.
